Google got in on it, too!

I woke up this morning to a bunch of emails and Facebook messages wishing me a happy birthday! I talked to my mom on the way to work after missing her call when I was in the shower. (Did y'all know that I came into this world on my parent's anniversary?)

When I got into work and went to Google, I saw this special design and thought, "WOW! I wonder what that's for...." What a surprise to see a special message to me from Google! :-D

This is a mile stone birthday for me and I realized a few months ago that I would now be checking a new age bracket for surveys when I participate. When I lamented about this fact on Facebook a couple of weeks ago, Sue pointed out that I will be the young one in the new age group now. That made me feel better. And now that the change is here, it doesn't really feel any different.

They say that 40 is the new 30 so I am going to assume that 35 is the new 25! I don't think that I feel much different today than I did on my 25th birthday. I'm in a much more stable place being in the condo. I have a good job that pays the bills where I am respected and appreciated for the work that I do. I have my crafts and hobbies that I love. I have great friends to share all my joys and sorrows with! And best of all.... no gray hair that needs to be dyed!!! WOO HOO!!!

I think that 35 *IS* the new 25!

Happy Birthday! You've definitely got the right attitude! I just turned 49 last week and I don't feel much older than 25 either. I don't know when you start to feel "older"? Hopefully, I never will O:)

35 is a great year! I really enjoyed it. The grey hair started later, and this year it is picking up steam, but there are ways of fixing that. So, don't worry about it. We enjoy color and shine in fabric, why not in ourselves? Happy birthday!

Happy birthday!!! Hope you had a great day! Milestones....ewwww...next year I will hit the big 40 milestone! :( I don't do birthdays very well and everyone here knows that so they don't make a big deal over them. I think the hardest for me was 30. I was 30 and pregnant!

Happy Birthday Jill! You share the day with my baby girl--she's 31.
Enjoy your day! I remember turning 35 and I was not as comfortable with it as you are. :)
