Angel Wings panto

I finished quilting a lap quilt for Regina's SIL Cathy last night. I used a Connecting Threads purple variegated in the top, a silver Bottom Line in the bottom and Warm and Natural batting.

I used the Angel Wings panto for the design. The purple that is in the squares has inspirational words and that is the same fabric used on the back. I thought that the Angel Wings panto was the perfect fit!

Here is a better shot of the backing so that you can see the words if you enlarge the picture.

And here is a shot of the backing that shows off the quilting.

And now, it is already on it's way back to it's owner!! :)

I love Angel Wings panto... you did a great job with it. I also know I've visited your blog before as I recognize your banner with your Doxies. Just wanted to stop by and say hi! B.

It looks great! I love that panto, I've used it a few times. It is a very nice one to quilt. Do you have any problems with the bottom line nesting? I kept getting little nests on one of the quilts that I did the other day and used that thread. I had never had that problem before and I kept adjusting the tension but I still couldn't get it to stop. I usually love Bottom Line thread. Have you tried Madeira thread? OMG, I love that stuff. I just got another order in of that stuff.

Very nice--both quilt and quilting. The movement in the quilting design makes the whole quilt flutter.
