Design Wall Monday - 12/5

Most of this past weekend was spent on the OVQG Raffle quilt. I am the chair on this project and things have been moving along steadily. Yesterday, I got the blocks assembled and laid out. Today, I assembled the center and then went to Patrice's house to work on the borders.

Here's where we are now.

So we have a few more hours until the top is done and we can hand it off to the quilter. Hopefully that will happen within the next 2 weeks so that I can concentrate on something else. But I really like how this is turning out!!!

PS - It's Morning Splash - one of Judy L.'s patterns!!

Beautiful colors, too bad you don't get to keep it. Is it a Judy L. Pattern from Patchworktimes?

I remember when Judy was making this quilt because some of the units kind of look like Mickey Mouse ears :) It is beautiful!

One of my favorites. She taught this in a class here in Baton ROuge, and mine is still in that same condition as when I walked out the door! Maybe this year it will be finished. I guess I needed to let it steep into a UFO for credit! LOL.
