This week, I decided that it was time to make a few Christmas table runners. I couldn't decide on whether to pull scrappy fabrics or use a small FQ bundle I have with bright reds, greens and blues. And I also have an older Thimbleberries holiday bundle, but I couldn't really get behind that choice either. Then, Friday night I was talking to my mom and gazing at my shelves of pre-cut fabrics and I saw this.
It's Christmas Past by Minnick & Simpson and it is lovely! Here are a few close ups of the fabrics from the line. It's so yummy!
So I have gotten the entire bundle cut into charm squares to make a few table runners.
In addition to get the charms cut, I also worked on the cow quilt and pillowcases. I only have 2 more fabrics to cut.
I did have a little set back this week - a trip to the Fabric Shack. But I got backings for 3 quilts and some sale fabric.
I have plans to get the backings made this week, so I should end the year pretty well!
Fabric added this week: 22.97
Fabric added year-to-date: 165.94
Fabric used this week: 13.97
Fabric used year-to-date:134.67

And little Maxie just enjoyed playing with his new baby all week.

Wow sounds like you got lots accomplished this weekend. I hope to get some more done tonight but we will see.

Good progress on the in and out, and I like Max's new friend :)
Love that stripe with the cow print. Your runner is very nice too. What's the pattern name?
