I did a lot of busting this week and then went shopping yesterday. Not a great combination, but I am hoping to get the fabric that I bought yesterday busted this week.
I am working on 2 different quilts for a customer. I had to get fabric for borders and backing and I was able to get that done yesterday while shopping with Lynn. Lynn is in the Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild with me and she is fast becoming my Go To Fabric Shopping Companion!
We picked out 2 fabrics for the 2 quilts and I found another fabric while we were looking that would be great for the back of my first Scrap Squad quilt. The blue and the yellow are for the customer quilts and the black is for me.
Here is a better picture of the black. It's more black than grey.
Since the blue and yellow are not my fabrics, I am not counting them as added and I won't count them as busted either.
And so far, I still can't show pictures of what I busted, but it was mostly for the Scrap Squad quilt. I should be able to show that off very soon! And I sent 5 FQs to my Queen of the UFO yahoo group to participate in the 'game' this year. I'm happy to be able to say that I busted more than I brought in for the week!
Fabric added this week: 5.00
Fabric added YTD: 5.00
Fabric used this week: 5.69
Fabric used YTD: 20.50
Net Fabric Used: 15.50
I caught Max laying on the Hermie shell last night. I guess he was welcoming him to the house. :)

Great numbers especially when it involved a shopping trip! The black fabric is great swirls with stars. Love seeing the pictures of your puppies.
That black fabric is to die for! And what a cute picture of Max...
Hermie's now just one of the kids...
Love that black -can't wait to see what you do with it!!!
Look at you go! Those busted numbers are quite impressive for not even a whole month into the new year!
Yay you!!! I love the starry print!!
I knew you'd shop before too long ;) but good for you still being in the black!
OMG - just sewing w/ friends last night and one had that same black fabric. However, she was suing the last pieces of hers in a scrap quilt. It is so pretty!
Max has made a new friend!
