Cincinnati IQF show

I finally got to see my quilt hanging in the IQF show in Cincinnati today. It was very cool to be in the show and to hear others comment on the design and the quilt!

It was a little upsetting though when I started taking pictures and my camera pooped out on me. :(  I thought that the batteries didn't need to be charged, but I was proven wrong on that fact when the camera stopped adding my pictures to the memory card and spent a lot of time processing as I walked around. What a total bummer!!! On a side note, I have upgraded my memory card to one that is more current than what I had been using (a 5 year old 256 mb) and I have purchased a set of back up batteries. Now, I just need a nifty quilted bag to hold my spare batteries and to protect the camera when it is shoved into another bag! lol

I did get some pictures in between the times I had to work and my shopping, but I didn't get nearly as many pictures as I had wanted to. I also didn't get to see all of the quilts. I am seriously considering going back to the show tomorrow to get more pictures and take my time walking around the show. It will depend on how well I can walk because my heel has bothering me off and on all day.

I have to say that there were so many fantastic quilts that I did see and I have been inspired to get serious about my UFOs and projects as well as the quilting business so that I can upgrade my frame. I just need to keep my eyes on the prize!

Oh My Gosh!!! I was there yesterday and said to my Mom who was visiting from NY-a person on a blog I read made a quilt like this!!! She loves is and has added to my list of quilts to make for her.
I had gone to the show in Hershey for years while I lived in PA and thought the vendor selection there was great-this show made that look like the dollar store!!
Amazing-I cannot wait for next year.
Kudos for being in the show!!

That was an antique of a memory card! LOL! Hope your camera is working better now. Your quilt looks great! Be proud of that awesome accomplishment!
