Quilt-A-Thon Sunday - 10/7

Well, I didn't reach my goal of having 6 quilts quilted by the end of today. I got a sore throat and I believe that I have been fighting off a cold and my energy has been zapped. I did make very good progress though!!

Today, I quilted 2 quilts and have another one loaded on the frame. I also got all of my laundry done and it is folded which is a feat all by itself! lol

Here is the second quilt that I quilted this weekend. This is for Kara and I believe that the squares are from a layer cake, but I am not sure of the fabric line. I quilted loops with a white Coates & Clark on the top and a Bottom Line in the bobbin.

Next, I quilted this ice skating quilt for Gerre who is a friend of my aunt Donna in Texas. I think that this is a cream Coates & Clark and Bottom Line in the bobbin. And the quilting is a stipple.

And finally, I loaded the baby quilt for my neighbors. Eli was born last Wednesday so it's about time that I get to the quilting. I was thinking about quilting a panto, but I think that I am going to go for a stipple.

All things considered, it's been a great weekend to get things moving along! Tomorrow, I work on some blocks!

You made a lot of progress. Sorry that you feel so bad. I noticed that you have mats in the floor by your machine, I've looked at those brown ones, how well do they work for you?
