Kathy's wall hanging

I finished quilting this wall hanging for Kathy in Florida last night. It is Raggedy Ann hand embroidery with 30's reproduction fabric for frames and sashing. I used an off white King Tut in the top and white Bottom Line in the bobbin.

I quilted with tin-ish stipple in the background of the embroidered blocks and flowers in the frames and sashings because a lot of the prints were flowery.

The backing is a red polka dot and the white bobbin thread works well!

I would have gotten a dog picture to add, but they are all in bed right now. lol

Such cute little embroideries. I'll bet this little quilt is for someone special. Love the polka dots.
