Stash Report Week 9, 2013

I finally have a little movement on the stash report, but it is movement in the wrong direction. sigh... :)

I received 2 customer quilts in the last week or so and they both need to have the binding stitched down on them. The binding didn't come with the quilts so I had to make a couple of trips to JoAnn's to get navy blue Kona for the binding.

While I was at Joann's, I also picked up a little Minkee to test it on my machine to see how it works out. I think that it will work out and I will end up with another customer quilt after my attempt. :)

I have already started stitching the binding on the first quilt and I finished the quilting on the second quilt already this morning. I am going to try my best to get the binding on both quilts finished today. Or pretty darn close on the second quilt.

And the last bit of the navy that I didn't cut last week will be cut today.

Fabric added this week: 2.55
Fabric added YTD: 6.47

Fabric used this week: 0.56
Fabric used YTD: 14.18

Net Fabric Used: 7.71

And now, I must get to binding so that Max will quit looking at me with inpatient anticipation.

Max is waiting impatiently for me to start binding a quilt so he can sit on my lap.... #dachshund #Maxierules

Does Max crawl under the quilt while you bind? My two rat terriers insist on being underneath mine.

Max looked all together to comfy!! Your numbers are going in the right direction - unless you needed to enhance your stash?? LOL

I don't think you should have to count the fabric you buy for customer quilts...I guess only if you have leftovers that go into your stash. Hope you and Max had some cuddle/binding time yesterday.
