Stash Report Week 11, 2014

Yesterday, I met up with a couple of distant cousins to shop for fabric for a wedding quilt. It was so nice to see Sally and to meet Gretchen and it was great to catch up a little. We shopped at Sewn and picked out the fabric and the design specifics for the quilt.

Gretchen decided on a palette of creams and tans and we went with Bella solids for everything except the cream. The cream is a Kona and it's slightly speckled and all the fabrics look lovely together!

Fun to pick out fabrics with the person the quilt is for. Can't wait to see the finished quilt made with those fabrics - it is going to be gorgeous.

Very nice palette you picked out - look forward to seeing it become a quilt.

I am thinking that you are making a sweet low volume quilt.

You're not supposed to keep anything secret... Don't you know that against the law? LOL!

Looks like you had a fruitful quilting session, too! Yay!
