Friday Weigh In

Well, I just got off the scale this morning for my Officially Unofficial Weigh In. I was hoping for a total of 20 pounds loss. I am at 19.8, which is close enough that I am going with 20! Woo Hooo! 20 pounds loss in 2 months! Now, if I can lose more than 2 this next week, I will be in the 150's and extremely happy! I am so close that I can almost taste it!

And, my plan worked, I am about a half hour early and almost ready to leave for work. This means that I could get home by 6 PM tonight. That would be AWESOME!!!

That takes a lot of discipline, and you feel so good when you get 'er done! How have you been succeeding? Any particular plan, or just restraint?

I have been following Weight Watchers. I had old information from a fwe years ago and started following that at the beginning of June and then actually signed up after the fourth of July. The biggest things that I did in June was cut out the soda (I am a Cherry Coke junkie and haven't had any since the end of May); watch portion sizes; and add more fruits and vegetables. A lot of fruits and vegetables! And I had to cut out the snacking, but quilting has helped with that. When I am sewing, I am upstairs and away from the kitchen and I am not snacking.

Congratulations! I got on a scale today after my kickboxing class and nearly kickboxed the scale out of the locker room. Damn thing! Seems like the harder I work out, the less my weight changes. And I'm so sick of hearing how muscle weighs more than fat, blah, blah, blah. I just want to fit back into my wedding dress again - it was only 7 years ago (and two children). So, all this to say that I am so impressed that you lost 20 pounds! Keep it up!

WAY TO GO on the weight loss. Even though you lost the weight don't feel like it's gone forever because I picked it up and am keeping it. Cindy
