I feel GREAT!

I left work tonight and had to stop at the post office to mail more packages for eBay. I am finally getting rid of some of my older stamps sets that have been taking up space in the basement. And I stopped at the library to pick up some movies that were on hold for me. Once I got home, I started laundry and changed into workout clothes. I found some lovely 'presents' that the dogs left for me. They are so good to me....

Anyway, I thought that I had been so good this past week and my scale even showed a loss of 1.4 pounds and when I got to the Weight Watchers meeting, their scale only showed a loss of .4 pounds. WTH?!?! I only had 1 glass of water and yogurt that morning so I was pretty ticked. It sort of jump started me into doing this whole thing right. I started journaling again which I hadn't done since really early in July. And I have been making a point of working out.

Tuesday night, after my quilt class, I came home and did the elliptical for 20 minutes. This was a first for me because I usually don't do anything when I am done with a class because I don't get home until after 9:15. Wednesday night, I was planning on going to my yoga class, but had so much to do at home and didn't feel like leaving for an hour and half for only 1 activity point when I would get 3 from the elliptical so I skipped yoga and did the elliptical for another 20 minutes. Tonight, I came home from work and, after cleaning up all of the 'presents,' I did the elliptical for 28 minutes for 4 activity points. And I went up to level 3 for more than 3 minutes! I am also doing laundry and making multiple trips up and down the stairs.

Man, if I don't lose 2 pounds at the next meeting and get to my first 10% loss, I am going to be really ticked off! But I feel good after ellipticalling for 28 minutes! That is the longest that I have ever done it. I am proud of myself!

don't beat yourself up over it. My friend was the same, if she skipped meals her weightloss slowed down, but if she ate regularly her weight loss was good again. it's something to do with the body expecting food at regular intervals or it goes into a 'hoard' mode and doesn't burn off the little food that you've eaten.

Try eating regular meals for one week while still working out and see what the result is. I agree with above comment, you might not be eating enough at regular intervals.

Good Job! You are doing great and I know you are working out to improve your health - don't worry it'll show up! I know how hard it is in fact I just have not been tracking lately and I am staying at the same weight to prove it. I am going to my WW meeting tomorrow morning and I have to face the scale..
