Note to self...

When there is something that needs to be done, never succumb to the nap! Or maybe it should be never check your email when you are a little sleepy and then decide to nap.

I have a list. A LIST! Of things that were supposed to be done tonight! I got Taco Bell for dinner to eat something quickly when I got home so that I could get busy on the nap. Then, I decided to check my email because I didn't get a chance to do that at work ebfore I left. Since I could barely concnetrate on the emails, there is not way that I could actually sew anything, right? I will just set my alarm on my cell phone and take a quick 45 minute nap.

Sounds great, right?

Nope. I ended up sleeping for 2 and a half hours! Can you believe it?

It has been a rough couple of days at work and I have been putting in long hours this week. This is my only excuse. And yesterday, I was gone from the house from 6:45 AM until 8:30 PM. I had been up since 5 AM. I guess that I just needed the sleep.

And now, I can probably get some of the stuff on the list done. Well, I could if I would just get off of the computer!

Tomorrow morning is our first Stash Management class at the LQS. There are some strange things going on with the shop and we didn't get a supply list until yesterday. Then, they told Judy that she needed to bring a mat, rotary cutter, ruler and her machine and that they just didn't know how many people would be attending. The funny things are that the class is only an hour and a half long and there is a limited number of seats in the classroom for people to bring in their machines and actually have room. Plus, the shop always has enough mats and rulers for anyone taking a class to use theirs. The ladies that I am taking the class with are starting to get the impression that the shop just doesn't know what they are doing. I hope that things work out! I will update tomorrow.

OK, I am off to work on my list! I will update on this tomorrow, too.
  • Cars pillowcase
  • animals pillowcase
  • drawstring bag
  • work on a purse or 2

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate and a nap is always perfect! I had a cold a week ago and didn't sleep my normal times, so now my days and nights are all mixed up. I work from home, so all week I've napped a bit each day and then I can't sleep at night. Have a great time at the LQS. Are you doing this mystery quilt???

Wow if I wrote out a list for you guys you would die laughing.. I am such a procrastinator. But I have been going through and winter cleaning I guess you could call it.. if I can reduce the amount of things that I have to pack and move myself I'll be excited. I have gotten 15 or so boxes packed.. they are organized by room to if you can believe that
