Well, I am ready!

I have all of the first floor vacuumed, dusted and straightened. I cleaned the kitchen, hallway and bathroom floors and I cleaned the bathrooms. The refrigerator was cleaned out and the garbage was taken out a couple of times. I have even been to the grocery store and stocked up on fresh fruits and veggies for this weekend and the coming week. I have gathered all of my quilting/sewing supplies and am ready to take them to the family room in the morning.

Oh, and I also picked up a peanut butter pie at the Village Family Restaurant in Waynesville where Judy and I had lunch a couple of weeks ago. The girls are going to be surprised!

Jeanette said that she would be here between 10 and 10:30 in the morning so I need to be ready by 10. Right now, I am ready for bed! I am pooped!

I have been to several quilt shops today to drop off fliers for the Quilt Retreat. They were all great about letting me leave the fliers for them to display. I bought fabric at Fabric Shack for a purse for myself. I can not start on it until I finish the other ones, though. On this one, the red is the body, the brown is the trim and then white with the hearts is for the insides.

Aunt Ruth's was actually having a Grand Reopening sale so I bought a book. Judy, Jeanette and I have been eyeing this book for a while. We had been in Aunt Ruth's while they were showing a sample quilt, but they never had the book for us to look at. It is Strip Pieced Quilts - Easy Designs from Just 6 Fabrics. While I was checking out, the owner told me to put my name in for a door prize and they were going to draw for a prize right then. I did it and then hoped that they wouldn't draw my name while I was standing right there. They didn't.

Then, I went to Stitches and Such and got about 3 yards of a clearance fabric for a backing and a couple of chalk items and then I ran to Best Friends, but I didn't see anything that I *had* to have. After all of that, I went home to drop off the pie, pee the dogs and then I ran to the grocery store. It was a very busy day!

I forgot to post this picture of Max. He got himself up here on the back of the couch, so he must be feeling better!

Glad to see Max is feeling better. I hate it when one of mine is sick. Sounds like you've been very busy. Hope your Sunday was awesome!

I might need you to pick up some of that brown for me. I think both of my local haunts are out of stock and I want to use it for a Miranda. I'll check PW out this weekend.
