You may or may not have heard about this event that is going on in about two weeks... It's the St Jude's Quilt Retreat? Sound vaguely familiar? Donations? Quilting? I am helping organize? he he he
Jen is coming down from Milwaukee to stay a couple of nights before we go on the retreat and I have been putting off organizing my stash in the spare bedroom for quite a while. Since that is where she will be sleeping while she is here, I figured that I needed to get some things in order before she gets here.
I decided that since I had such a mess in the bedroom, that I just needed to clear everything out and put it all back in a more orderly fashion. Wednesday night, I decided that it was time for me to clear it out. Here are some pictures of the 2 rooms after the clearing.
Spare bedroom - this first picture is from the door to the room.
This picture is of the wall next to the door
This is taken from standing on the bed. The pile on the floor is the bed linens and comforters that are currently in the washer.
Now for the master bedroom. This is taken from the door of the master bedroom. This is my sewing area and my desk. It's a little deceiving because there is also a good deal of stuff behind the desk in the this picture and you can't really see that. The bed is to the left in this picture.
This is from the bathroom door to the master bedroom. The desk is on the right in the picture.
This is from the other side of the bed from the door to the bedroom.
After I finished clearing everything out, I was just shocked at how much I have accumulated in the year since I started quilting. I am just shocked! I really need to get working on my current projects and UFOs and stop buying anything new!
