It's finished!!

I have finished the Take 5 comfort quilt. And it's a little late. I overheard my co-worker before I left work and it sounded like they were going to be moving her son to a different hospital in a different city. The only thing that I can think of is that he hasn't gotten any better and they are taking him to a specialist, but I am not 100% sure what is going on. Regardless, the quilt will be ready for her to take to him this weekend.

While I was stitching down the binding, Maisy was enjoying the fruits of my labor...

Here is the quilt finished.

Here are a couple of close ups of my quilting. I think that this was one of the last corners that I did so it was probably one of the better ones.

Now, to get a frame and that whole set up - next time I will be able to whip one of these bad boys out in a week! Well, hopefully, I won't need to make another comfort quilt for a while.

And now, back to my regularly scheduled quilting projects!

It looks fabulous!!!! You did a great job and it's going to be so appreciated. I'm sad to hear that he's not making improvements. =(

Where's MR. Max? Under the quilt?

What a precious picture. What is it about dogs and quilts??? I have two corgis and even when I'm folding laundry, if there is a warm fresh out of the dryer towel on the floor, one of them is "on it!" Great picture -- and fun quilt!
