Columbus NQA Show, Part 3

The purchases!!! I had some things that I wanted to look for at the show. Thread, prizes for the July Survivor Challenge, an E-Z Bob for loading the bobbin into the Mega Quilter and possibly some pantos for the frame.

As soon as we got into the show, the first vendor was selling thread! Patrice got her selections and I was still wandering around. I finally picked out 3 Superior Lava threads and a black bottom line. The thread on the left is black and gray. The thread second from the left is shades of brown and teal - I have the perfect fabric for this spool!

I think that this one will be perfect for the Star and Nine patch quilt! It's got pink, green, purples and blues. It will be perfect!

I got this little quilt kit - the pattern is Bits and Pieces and uses fat eighths. I love the fabric! It's Andover's Jitterbug by Cosmo Cricket.

I also got this charm pack of Strawberry Lemonade. I may have already gotten it though and Patrice said that she would take it if I had.

There was a vendor selling half yards of fabric for $2.75. This must have been the same people that Jen was wondering how they could sell fabric this cheap. I bought a little bit... :) This green bundle can be used for blankets for the NICU that Best Friends collects.

I also picked up some miscellaneous half yards. I really like the red, pink, gray and black fabric is the top row. I took all that they had left out.

They also had this bundle of Civil War Reproduction fabric on clearance. I love the Civil War Repros and just couldn't pass up this great deal!

These Santas remind me of my grandparents house at Christmas when I was growing up. It came with a super easy pattern.

The quilting on the finished quilt was very cool, too!

I got these cute little note cards.

These cute little earrings...

And my Eleanor book...

And some pig fabric to make my step-granma a pig pillowcase. She collects pig and I bet that she doesn't have a pillowcase! And Maisy just had to start getting some love from the camera!

OK, that's it! I got some great things!!!

You suck! I want that teal thread in the worst way but I really have no fabric or need to own it. The Jitterbug fabric is sooooo cute!!! That top stripe reminds me of a "wind scarf" that my Grandma used to wear on her head like 20 years ago....but it was probably a scarf that was from the 40's. I'm sooo glad you got to meet EB. We got to meet her last year. We also did a 1 hour lecture from her and it was a riot. Those notecards are slick; I've never seen that line before. Super cute earrings!!
