Machine Applique

I took a machine applique class tonight at Best Friends. It was a lot of fun and pretty informative! I had never worked with Helen before, but I would definitely take another class from her.

Here are some pictures of what I did.

My star turned out pretty awesome, too!

This year, the shop is doing a $2 a block Block of the Month. Of course, I signed up after seeing this quilt!

This is the first month, but I haven't gotten my kit yet. I can't wait to get started on this quilt! It looks so awesome in person!

Pretty quilt - I can see why you are excited! Wish someone around here did a BOM. I could really get into those. I am doing 2 now but would 2 more kill me? :) I especially like the idea of getting the fabric with the instructions so there is no additional shopping. I need to stay OUT of quilt shops!!

I love that BOM quilt. The colors remind me of Southwest colors. Your applique looks good. Now you'll have lots of possibilities to think of when putting together a quilt.
Take care.
