It's a quilt top!!

I got it done!! I got it done! I'm so excited to have this top behind me now so that I can concentrate on something else. The outer border is a tad bacon-y, but I know that it will quilt out.

And of course, Max had to inspect and he agrees that it looks awesome!

The quilt is a Block of the Month that Best Friends Quilt Shoppe, my LQS, did for 2008. The blocks are 12" stars made with Thangles. And the border is from The Border Workbook by Janet Kime.

Now, I can make the binding and backing and kill some stash! At last!! :)

Now that's gorgeous! I've never been much of a fan of sampler quilts, but done in 2 colors like that really ties it together.

That is an awesome quilt! I, too, am not usually pulled to sampler quilts, but the color scheme makes such a difference. I'll have to add that to my "things to try" list!
