Weekend Goals

Aaaahhh!!! Three days of very little to do except for sewing and quilting! How lovely!!

I have made up a list of things that I would like to do/work on.
  1. Binding on fairy quilt - this will be machine stitched so it should go fairly quickly. I hope!
  2. Finish lap size Yellow Brick Road for the shop. It's mostly done right now.
  3. Table runner for the shop
  4. Thimbleberries blocks for June - 4 blocks
  5. Load Milky Way onto the frame. I feel like if I can get it loaded, I will work on it during next week once I get home from work.
  6. Cut fabric for a Courier bag
  7. Make 2 Guild blocks
  8. Work on the outer pieced border for the 2008 BOM quilt
  9. Work on the first border for the Wizard of Oz OBW quilt
  10. Stitchin' Chix bag - at least get everything together to assemble later
  11. Jitterbug Yellow Brick Road - work on 1 step

I also have movies to watch so that should keep me pretty focused to get lots done. I may have to reward myself with opening the box from the Fat Quarter Shop for getting a certain number of items done. Maybe 5? Maybe 7 to keep the momentum going? If I open the box, I'd like to get also get the first month's block done. I'm probably just being very optimistic here.

Check back for my progress and pictures! :)

Great list! Lucky you don't have the temptation of the yard calling like I do! I have a mini-list (that I am not posting) and actually got THREE things nearly done last night!!!

I love the YBR - it is such "instant gratification" and turns out so cool!
