Stash Report Week 46

This past week, I spent a few nights finishing the dog quilt and a few nights knitting. Nothing new was cut. I'm glad to be finished with the dog quilt and hope that I can bust out this next comfort quilt quickly so that I can move on to a project that I really want to work on. Now, I just have to decide which project that will be! ;)

This week, I added a half a yard - 2 FQs that came in with the swap blocks from the Yahoo Group. We ended up with 10 blocks so I just need to make 2 more and I will have enough blocks for a quilt top!

I have also decided that I will continue reporting my usage, but I am going to concentrate on the amount of sewing that I have actually done. That is a great number!

Fabric added this week: 0.50
Fabric added year-to-date: 299.75

Fabric used this week: 0.00
Fabric used year-to-date: 175.57

Net Fabric Used: -124.18

How'd you do?

Well, I don't know, but I know that I did not buy anything except 3 yards (probably used 2 yards) of background fabric for Louie's quilt top I made yesterday, and this morning I cut warm and natural batting off the roll for it, and I'm using a sheet I bought at Goodwill for the backing. My fabric stash closet is getting lighter, but not much!

Have a wonderful day!

Be blesed,
Michelle

Jill, congrats on getting the dog quilt done. Next year we're all going to do better with stash busting, right?

Can't wait to see what you work on next. I have sooo many things that I want to work on, just not the time. I really need to finish some things before starting more. I swear I think I have ADD!! :)

I can never keep up with the fabric that I use. :)

Good for you for hanging in there and faithfully trying to use your stash, get UFOs finished, and work on new projects, too!

Well I can't comment on what I have used because there wasn't any.. LOL.. I'm hoping with the long weekend coming up I will have the chance to at least try to start recording how much stash I have.
