JItterbug center finished!

After all the excitement of shopping and the big sale yesterday, I was able to get to sewing after I started cutting up the yardage. What a pain to maneuver 10 yards of fabric! lol

I finished assembling the blocks and rows on the Jitterbug YBR. I also laid out the border fabric that I picked out and decided that I don't like it with the border. I thought that I would wait to see both options in daylight and then make my decision.

The one that I bought for it last summer is the one at the bottom of the picture. I think that it now looks funny with the dot as the outer border. So I dug into my stash and found a creamier fabric for the inner border. It will mean that the border will have to be a little skinnier, but I think that I can live with that.

Thoughts? Although I am pretty sure that I am going with the cream and I plan on cutting it when we head upstairs to sew.

I also spent the evening watching an episode of Top Chef and several Hell's Kitchen. Seeing the amateurs on Hell's Kitchen made me wonder if the professional on Top Chef ever watch Hell's Kitchen and think about how they would do on the show. LOL

The pups were just happy to have something else to leave their fur on!

I vote for the cream, too. Makes the rest of the quilt sparkle more.

I like the cream too - and what did you tell the dogs before you took the picture - they both look awful sheepish!

I like the cream too and your fabic is so cute. Your doggies are so sweet. What is it about animals and quilts? My dog loves to get on my quilts like this too.

I like the cream better too. Your dogs are so cute. I just want to squeeze them, though that would really irritate my kitties. LOL Have a good Sunday. Winona

I think that turned out so fabulously, that either border would work out! Amazing quilt...great job!

I like the creme, and no border fabric. I think you should stop there. Love the quilt!

THE CREAM LOOKS GOOD WITH THE CHOICES OF OTHER FABRICS. I SEEMS TO MAKE THE OTHER COLORS STAND OUT MORE.

I like the cream border, but since I'm commenting later than most, you probably have this already done. (I'm kinda reading your blog in verse order. Like a book, so I don't read about how the story ends first. Love the scoobies! So so cute. They are your official quilt testers.Ahhhh this one is just right, they say!
