What's a bit more?

After the delivery from Regina earlier this week, I figured, "What's a little more?" A local quilt shop was having a sale this weekend and I headed there after I left work this afternoon. Using the Oriental FQs from Regina and Schnibbles Times Two from Aunt Donna, I figured out how much fabric I would need to make a quilt for my neighbor.

This is what I got along with the 9 of the Oriental FQs that Regina sent.

The green at the top will be the backing - rest assured, it WAS Barb and KT approved! I added the gray for the background and the 5 fabrics that are on the right side and the third fabric from the left. They all look really good together!

And since I shopped, I got to pick a freebie... Of course, I couldn't pass up a book! lol Dealer's Choice by Atkinson Design.

All those Orientals look good together! Can't wait to see that stash report this weekend -- at least I won't be able to give you a hard time about the yarn this week!

Pretty fabrics! So how do you like the Schnibbles book? I like Miss Rosie and made a couple of Schnibbles for the quilt shop. I like the idea of making the quilts bigger because I had a hard time figuring out what to do with the little schnibbles.

The colors are yummy! I especially like that grey...it's hard to find grey fabric around here.
