Design Wall Monday, 8/23

I finally got a little something new on my design wall! I changed things up a bit! I started chain piecing on Saturday night and kept at it through most of Sunday.

I finished the 17 strip sets of 6 strips per set. Next is the cutting and the layout of the blocks!

I also worked on my Bento Box blocks! The finished blocks are at the bottom of the design and the rest only need 1 more strip added to the tops. This one doesn't have a border so I should be able to get this last piece on and pressed and start laying out this quilt for assembly quickly, too! Woo hoo!

Maisy seems entirely impressed with my quilting prowess!

Isn't progress a wonderful thing? You're so close on finishing the Bento boxes.

I, too, really like your bento box blocks. I have admired those quilts and seeing your blocks, I think I could do one. Thanks.

I am working on a quilt that is a Bento Box variation..and I learned that you should keep to solid/less busy fabrics! Yours looks great! Love that nose peeking out of the quilt..is that HER quilt? or does she just KNOW its hers? lolol

Way to go. You are really making progress. Maisy is so cute peaking out under the covers. Buddy goes in his crate at night without even crying now. I am so glad the whining and crying stage is over. LOL Have a good day. Winona
