The Task Master

I mentioned in an email on Monday to Amy that I floundered a little on Saturday and really didn't get to sewing until Saturday night. My issue was that I wanted to piece, but for some reason felt like I needed to be quilting. For some reason, I really didn't want to be quilting so I sort of just bummed around until I thought, "ENOUGH!! Do SOMETHING!" So I pieced.

After Amy heard this, she sent me an email with a schedule for the evenings this week. Far be it from me to argue with her. She finished a quilt today week that she started like 2 weeks ago! I figured that she must know what she is doing.

She must!!

On Monday, my task was to finish the Bento Box blocks. I got home from work and errands and ate dinner and sat down at my computer and thought, 'Amy is going to yell at me if I don't get these blocks done....' So I pushed the Facebook aside and ... DONE!

Now, I have to see when they will make the schedule again for me to lay them out! lol

Tonight, my task was to quilt a quick quilt. DONE!!!

It's the same green fabric and green flannel backing that I did on the last quilt so I did the same panto, but I enlarged it a bit. You can see the difference in this next picture - new quilting is at the top of the picture.

I really think that I am liking the pantos!! I think that I am almost ready to quilt my SIS quilt. Almost! I want to use the Popcorn panto and I should practice that on a quick quilt before doing it on a bigger quilt.

Somehow, Maxie got the idea that his task is to destroy the squeaker in his purple cow... Mission almost accomplished!

I could use a schedule too!! I had a quilt quilted using the Popcorn panto (I'm sure it's the same or at least similiar) and it's very cute. My SIL liked it (the quilt was for her).

Good luck staying on schedule!

Glad Amy could motivate you. LOL Did Maxie get the squeaky out? Buddy has managed to lose 2 squeaky toys. I cannot find them anywhere. LOL Maybe that is his way of getting some new ones. Winona
