I got a lot of cutting done this week! And nothing brought in!! What a change! lol
First, I spent a few nights working on cutting fabrics for the finishing blocks and sashing strips for last year's $2 a block BOM. I signed up for the BOM for 2 sets so I will be working on the blocks for both at retreat.
Then, I was trying to clean up a little and get organized and I figured that it would be just as easy to finish the black and white top than to keep moving it around. I also got the backing and the binding made. There will be a full pic tomorrow for the Design Wall post, but here is proof that it's done! :)
And I cut fabric for a new purse - see post here for pics.
And I hit 200 yards used for the year!!! I still have some blocks that I want to get cut out for retreat and I was to cut the fabric for Granma's quilt so that should all be used this week, too!
Fabric added this week: 0.00
Fabric added year-to-date: 322.68
Fabric used this week: 14.67
Fabric used year-to-date: 205.52
Fabric Used: -117.16
Maxie just wants me to throw all the fabric on him to keep warm I think. Although, he loves this soft fleece blanket. :)

Looks like you are just about ready to head for that retreat! 200+ yards is great!
Giggle...you are doing much better this year than last year!

I love the dog! Blankets and quilts are just perfect for dog snuggling...LOL! Do you count fabric as "used" when you cut it? Or when you finish the quilt? Just curious...
Good job, good job! Preparing for the retreat and progress on the quilt. I love the Margo bag! and should cut one for myself...have only made them for gifts!
Lilly wants to know how Maxie got his mom to let him snuggle in fabric. She wants to do the same.
I can't wait to see the quilt top!
Wahoo! 200 yards and a great week for you!
Great picture of Maxie.
I love the fabrics for your BOM's
Love and hugs Gina xxx
Way to go on using over 200 yard for the year! Blue is Maxie's color, cute pciture. You've done all the prework, so your retreat should be very productive. Have fun.
Wow, nothing in? Are you feeling alright? (jk) Good job cutting up that fabric, reaching 200 yds used, AND getting the B&W top pieced.
WTG JILL THAT IS A GREAT MILESTONE. POOR BABY LOOKS SO TIRED DID YOU WORK HIM TO THE BONE AGAIN? LOL
Another weenie dog. I love it. So many quilters have weenie dogs including ME!
Come see my Sammie over on my blog if you have time.
