Design Wall Monday, 11/29

Well, I was hoping that I would be able to show off my Granma's quilt today, but I didn't work on it at all this weekend. :(

Here's what is on my design wall... The partially made 9 patches, the first Midget block re-made and 1 block for the Which Witch? wall hangings.

I did get the last 2 fabrics for the Super Secret Quilt cut out yesterday. It seemed to take forever and I had to take a 2 hour nap in between. I still can't show the fabrics, but here is a picture of the 2 binders - I had to expand from 1 binder yesterday.

Tuesday afternoon, I am having an eye exam and I have been thinking about what I might be able to work on while my eyes are dilated. If I can get the last piece of the 9 patches sewn on, I think that I can do the pressing on Tuesday. I might be able to sort the witch parts for each block so that they are ready to be pressed when I get back to them. Of course, I may not be able to do any of this! lol

The little pups were pretty happy, but I think it was because of the napping and not because I finished cutting the fabric.

The "Which Witch" looks like fun and I still love the colors in your 9 patches. Maybe not much on your design wall, but it sounds like you've made a lot of progress overall.

Don't feel bad about little sewing time for the week...I am betting you were taking in some family time. That's important too.

That's a pretty mixed up design wall -- looks a lot like mine! Looks like you're making good progress on several projects.

Those shoes are just fabulous. What a fun quilt that will be. Hope the eye exam goes well -- if not you'll miss tiny Tuesday.
