Friday Night Sew In and other things

Tonight is Friday Night Sew In!! Have you signed up? If not, there is still time to SIGN UP and you can do anything crafty related to get a chance to win. I definitely plan on working on something... I have to test out my new TV with the sewing table set up!

Wednesday night, I took my quilting machine in for a cleaning and service. When I quilted on Sunday, I noticed that there were some skipped stitches when I was quilting and there were quite a few more that I didn't see. The machine should be ready for pick up on Saturday and I am hoping that the cleaning and oiling is all that it needs to fix the skipping.

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned the Outlander series that I have been enjoying. I started rereading Outlander because there were so many comments of readers who were going to look into the book. I hope that you all have had a chance to pick the book up and started in and that you are all agreeing with me on how good the book is!! In the Audible book, there are 4 parts to listen to and I am almost done with the second part. It is just as good as I remembered.

Since Sunday, I haven't done a lot of sewing, but I did get to spend one night knitting with the pups. I think that I have about 3" done on the socks. Yesterday, I was stuck in bed all day with a migraine and major headache. It was such a bummer to have to take the day off work and not be able to work on anything!

I'm going to make up for yesterday today and this weekend! I still have a huge list of things to do and I have just added a couple of more things to it. And I still have a video of Maxie playing that should be trimmed up and shared. And I have a ton of blogs to read because I wasn't able to do that too well yesterday...

And with all of that being said, let's get a move on with Friday!!

I'll sew in tonight by organizing more boxes and trying to get a corner of the room ready for my sewing machine.

we are headed out of town for the weekend, so the only work I'll be doing is some binding in the car. Hope you get lots done tonight and the machine is back to normal!

I pick up my Outlander copy from the library tomorrow -and tonight plan on some serious sewing - or at least binding (or quilt testing?)

I just picked up the Outlander CDs at the Library last night. I hope to start listening this weekend while I start working on Bonnie's mystery.

I hope I can get some sewing in tonight! Doesn't help much that the husband is sick and I'll have to be with our 5 year old. No sewing until after she goes to bed tonight, I think. :(

I always used to think a day off work cos I was ill was a total waste of a day off work!

Hope you're feeling OK now and got some sewing done? Now I'm off to check out the Outlander book.

I planned to finish two Christmas presents last night during the sewin, but I was done in by my bookfair at school this week. I was asleep by 8:30. Oh well maybe Sunday...
