It's been a while since I have had anything worth reporting on my Design Wall. Heck, since I have had anything but the Midget blocks on my Design Wall! lol
This week, I have a pair of pants cut out to make for Barb who will be delivering her baby boy anytime now. I have to get them finished to be able to deliver them to the hospital so she can wear them while she is recuperating.
I'm hoping to get them finished tonight after my Guild meeting. :)

I've been thinking about making some pants for me, I just hate stopping progress on my quilts to do so. I think this is a perfect gift for Barb.
You sound like me...so many plans but not enough time or energy! I was looking back over my blog and a couple of years ago, I was cranking out quilts like a mad woman but not now.

You will like sewing clothing. A nice change of pace from quilting.
I will be anxious to see how that pants go. We have the same little book!
hi Jill! The pajama pants are SUCH a wonderful thoughtful idea for a recuperating new-mama! You are a sweet friend!
Love peeking in and seeing what you are working on!

Very cute PJ fabric and what a nice gift.
Those are the cutest pj pants and your friend will be so glad to have them. Nice job. I really like your midget blocks too. I had to put my mini block up because they were making me a little weird. :)
You are a good friend! I suck at making pj pants. I tried once. Never again.
That fabric is so cute! maybe she will have a Valentine's baby :)
Love the fabric. I have to ask if the pattern is written for a sewer or for a quilter? You know there is a big difference! I have looked at that pattern since I am so verically challenged.
that is such a cute fabric and a nice idea for Barb. hope all is going well with you and her. happy sewing...i am working on another ufo. it is a blanket i started crocheting for a baby but never finished it. i made a quilt instead. he was born in 2006 or 2007. i found it in a bag and decided to finish it and i will give it away later on. i finished 2 of the scrapbooks that were ufo's. see what a good example you are....
I actually like that fabric better than the A. Henry that you tried to get. Hope you can get these done right quick!!! :-)
Very cute fabric. It's so nice to make her something for afterwards.
Hope you're sewing away right now - I, on the other hand, have been at the computer all night.
Those will be cute. I love the fabrics you are using!!
The heart fabric is cute!!!
So, where do I find that pants pattern? I have 4 pair of fleece pants that I bought from Kohl's over the years. They are so warm and comfy for the winter weather here in snowy Indiana.
FYI...my Pineapple quilt is posted on my blog. Quilt Hollow just finished quilting it for me! that was what I worked on for the entire Shipshewanna retreat last year.
Are you going to the next retreat???
