Progress this week

I have been spending some time every night this week sewing. I prepped my Star Struck pieces on Sunday to be a Leader/Enders project and I couldn't wait to get them all pieced so I have been spending a fair amount of time sewing, pressing, pairing and repeating to get the blocks done. Tonight, I pressed the last of the blocks.

I also finished the Maxine quilt last night, but I haven't gotten a good picture of it yet. I will do that tomorrow.

Tonight, I ran to JoAnn's and picked up a few things. I had a 25% off all regular priced items and a 50% off coupon and these came in very handy! I picked up a striped fabric for new leaders for the frame, backing for the flamingo quilt, zippers to have on hand and velcro dots to attach to the batting rail on the quilt frame to help when I have to roll the batting on the rail.

The pups were very happy to see me when I got home!

The blocks look beautiful all stacked up. And that's quite a pile of zippers also. What do you have planned for them?

Your ironing board cover and my ironing board cover must be related.
