I have had these rows on my wall for a couple of weeks now. This is the May UFO - Not Your Grandmother's Log Cabin. I have the first 4 rows finished. I have the rest of the blocks done and I just need to start working on it a little.
I'm hoping that I will get this top finished by the end of this month.

These are looking great, Jill! I love what's going on with the green bits in the center and how they look interwoven! :cD

I really like the colors that you are using. You are going to have a beautiful quilt!
This is so pretty - has a very comforting look to it.
I'm sure you will make progress on this great quilt...it's amazing how the UFO challenge inspires us to work on our projects!
It is looking really good, one of those deceptive patterns. It looks complicated because of your good fabric selection and careful layout.
Love it and the color combo is great!
How unusual a block! I love it.

Love the look of that quilt. You can do it ;-)
Um, major star sighting in your comments - woot, woot! Great progress on your UFO!
Ooh, I like the purple and green together!
I love all the green and purple quilts that are popping up on the blogs lately. I especially love the scrappiness of yours and the deep purples you've used.
Ohhh I love the name - I always tell people that I'm a quilter - but not your grandmother's quilts quilter LOL! love the colors!
I like how the colors seem to move in the blocks! And the name as well!
Love those fabrics! Can't wait to see the finised top

Love the purples and greens. Good luck getting the top done by the end of the month! (What happened to May, how come it's half gone already!)
Jill I just love this one. You always amaze me on all the quilt patterns and fabric choices you make. I just love this one. Purple is one of my favorite colors and this quilt will be breath taking when you get it finished. Happy Quilting
I know. Sometimes the wall just stares back at you, doesn't it? Great and different looking blocks.
One of my favorite color combinations...I love the tone of purple you are using. The UFO Challenge has really helped me...it just amazes me...I guess it's that sense of a little competition.
I almost finished another pair of sleep pants for my grandaughter. another "PIG" almost completed. I finished one pair and one demin skirt for her birthday. had fabric for 2nd pair and just started them today. I also made the beginning of her soccer scrapbook from last year for her birthday. am still waiting on pics to put in it from daughter. She is a little slow at getting me the cd's so I can print them off. Happy Quilting
That's a new (to me) kind of log cabin. Love it!
