Things are progressing

But I think that I might be a little short on my shelf space.

I got 3 bookcases and I have room for a fourth. Right now, I am just trying to put things on the shelves to get them out of the way so that I can put the furniture where it needs to go.

But this is what I have left to put on these bookcases....

These boxes hold fabric yardage.

Of course there is all of these UFOs and Kits.

And I mustn't forget this stuff either...

Yeah, I think that I need another bookcase... sigh

On the bright side... The rooms are painted and the paint and supplies have been put away! And we are so close to having a spot for Max to curl up in while I organize and put things away! That is a must right now!

what a great feeling that must be - no more paint supplies underfoot. I have the same ironing board as you. I love the iron rest.

Maybe two more shelves ;)

When you run out of floor space, the next place is up! You may need to do something to get shelves up higher to use the most wall space. But that can be another day. Good going on getting the painting done and that stuff put away. Just take one day at a time.

Cleaning makes one face the facts about how much stuff there really is. Shelves will help. But, you are doing well. And look at how fortunate you are to have so many kits and projects ready to go as soon as you have a room again.

All the more reason to get back to sewing so you can use up some of that fabric!!! Love the bookcases.

Have you thought of the IKEA shelving units - http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/S49824326
or even - http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/60141511
although I don't like that one as much - the thing is, these, the first one, can store ALOT!! I have these in one little room of my house - my 'storage' room, and they go around the room and I mean, they hold everything!!!
And in my sewing room, I love it!
Your bookshelves can hold all the books, magazine, all it's holding now. These shelves, hold kits, fabrics and anything you need....
This is my idea for you. Your room is making me want to paint!!!! Stop it!!! ;-)

Looking great! It is all coming together nicely. I think the key to quilting production is organization! So after you get everything organized you can make up for all of the quilting that you have not been able to get done. :) BTW....I LOVE that picture hanging on the wall beside you UFO's and KITS shelf!
