First Scrap Squad quilt

I'm getting ready to start working on my first Scrap Squad quilt! I have had the pattern for a few weeks and have been mulling over the possibilities for my fabrics.

I have a few weeks to get the top together and then the quilts from all the members will be shown on the Quiltmaker's Quilty Pleasures Blog. Until my blog post is on the magazine's blog, I can't show much more than this. I might be able to do a few very close up pictures, but I can't show anything else.

My plan for all of the Scrap Squad quilts this year is to use fabric from my stash and I am going to start by using some fabric that I picked up from the Connecting Threads sale that I went to in Columbus last summer.

And right now, since the red, teal and white combination is so popular, I am going to use this fabric. The white is a bright white with white dots that resemble snow.

Oh that picture makes it look awful! Wonder if it's time for a new camera...

And since so many have asked for more pup pictures, here is Max asking when we can get started!

Love your fabrics. I have to laugh. I'm working on mine too and it is red/white/blue too. I am only using each fabric once with exception of the white. I guess great minds think alike. lol Hugs
