It's as if it's meant to be...

The trip to Wisconsin, that is! Gas prices have dropped and the average price that I saw on my way from the exit ramp to my house was 2.719! That is more than $1 drop in a very short amount of time!

As some of you know, and most of you don't, I was supposed to go to Wisconsin about this time last year. Then, this happened:

Here are my posts about the incident. And more pictures.

Accident Update
Friday Update

It put a bit of a damper on the fall last year and brought an abrupt halt to the plans to go to Wisconsin. With the anniversary of the accident coming up, it's been in the back of my mind that something could happen to keep me from making it this year, too. So far, so good!

In 48 hours, I should be safely in Casa Buettner with the dogs visiting with Jen, Cindy, Holly and Mike. Hopefully, we won't have to break up any fights between the dogs. In about 36 hours, I should be waking up and loading up the car for the journey North.

Right, since I was almost in tears this morning from the lack of sleep last night, I better get things finished and head to bed.

We too have plans for travel this weekend and I can't be happier to see the price of gas drop.

Good luck, and safe travels.

A great gas price drop! Wow!
Don't think about what happened last year or you will be tense. Think happy thoughts about your time away, but keep your mind on the drive too! I wish you a safe and great trip! I'm jealous... 8-)
Happy stitchings with Bubba

You scared me with that pic. I thought you'd had another accident! Prices for gas are the same here. Have a safe trip and a great time!

O M G seriously though I opened up this post and my heart dropped. Don't do that to me!!!

So, inquiring minds...mike... want to know if you're bringing a pillow. Honestly...the things that come out of his mouth are frigging hilarious.
