Most of the fabric I bought was with a particular pattern in mind. And I got a kit for a purse and 1 yard of a fabric that I had been looking for since September. I will have to wait to work on the pattern until I finish up a couple of the UFOs that I have and the 3 shop samples that I have taken on.
A couple of years ago, I bought a fair amount of flannel to make blankets for Project Linus. The fabric just needed to be prepped so yesterday I trimmed up and used a Skip Stitch blade on my rotary cutter to punch small holes around the edges. Now, I just need to crochet an edging around the pieces to finish the blankets. I'm glad to have the pieces trimmed because it was quite an ordeal!
I also got my first delivery of a new Mystery Quilt BOM that the Fat Quarter Shop is doing. Aren't these fabrics gorgeous? I haven't opened the box yet because I haven't had a chance, but I will add the fabric to my weekly stash report when I get around to it.
Now, here is the damage!
Fabric added this week: 15.50
Fabric added year-to-date: 180.65
Fabric used these weeks: 14.29
Fabric used year-to-date: 108.65
Net Fabric Used: -72.00
I think that compared to all of the purchases I made, that I did pretty well keeping up with the stash busting! Right now, I need to get some shop samples finished before I can work on anything else for me. I'm hoping to get at least 1 done today.
