Stash Report Week 10, 2010

I am knee deep in strips for 4 patches for the secret quilts. They are on top of the 472 HSTs for the same quilts! I have done no new cutting so I have not used any fabric this week.

I have had some issues with my Mega Quilter and bobbins and I was lucky enough to have a blog reader, Kelly Ann, contact me and ask some questions. Turns out that she owns a shop that sells Viking machines and she sent me a bobbin for a Mega Quilter to use as a control bobbin when testing all the other bobbins! She also sent me 2 fat quarters of some really cute dog fabric! Thanks so much, Kelly Ann!!! This is perfect and the bobbin is really be useful in my struggles with the machine and the other bobbins that I have acquired! :)

You are really cranking on your secret quilt. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Maisy looks so comfy!

That was very nice of Kelly Ann. Bloggers are wonderful people, aren't they?

I cranked 4 medium sizes suitcase, I large suitcase and a nice sized tote full of fabric out the door today, so my stash is considerably down.

Once I get rested up, I'll blog about my day yesterday. I worked over 15 hours decluttering, and organizing my 'stash' closet and basement. Wish I could say I was done decluttering the house, but I have only made a dent. Oh, but it feels great...except for my back and neck, and 'buzzing' feet and legs. The price you pay for comfort.
Love ya..have a great Sunday!

ps. I think I need to do what Maisy is doing! I was up til 2am!

GOOD JOB on the de-stash and goal work. I have a list, too, except my is on a scrap of paper pinned to a board in my sewing space. Right now I am trying to finish a green/yellow string quilt, queen size (started out as a throw, but...)I hope to have the top done this week.
