I think that last year on the retreat weekend, I did the same thing - first big purchases of the year.
And because I am knitting now, I also padded my yarn stash a little yesterday, too! :) It's a really good thing that we don't count the yarn!
And now for the big news... Yesterday afternoon, I was quilting the second secret quilt and I got a phone call... Lambikin's was calling to tell me that I won a $50 gift certificate to the yarn shop! I got 2 entries for shopping yesterday and one was the lucky one!! Woo hoo!!
Now prepare yourself for the shock!!!

Goody goody! It sounds like you had a ton of fun - and winning a gift cert. on top of it all! You're barely in the negative, so next week we'll be seeing positive numbers for sure! Maisy has that "whatever" look that cracks me up, and Max is raring to go! Love those pups!
Retreats sound so fun, I need to go to one. I hope you get some great yarn with your gift!!! I love yarn too, I have a stash that was given to me and I really need to use it up.
Okay--it wasn't THAT bad!! I miss Max and his hat! But love that new header! And retreats are for having fun!
