Stash Report Week 22, 2010

I was doing so well!!!! Darn that Barb for sending me the email!!!

Yesterday, the plan was to hit a quilt shop while Barb's mom woke Lucy and got her out of the house so that she wouldn't see me until she got back from granma's. Had she seen me, we probably wouldn't have been able to get her to go at all! So we ran to the Quilt Bug in Laurenceburg, IN for a sale that they were having. I don't know if it was a Memorial Day sale or a just because, but most of the fabric was 30% off.

I went in with a plan to only get the border fabric for the SIS quilt. That was the PLAN!!!

The green and white are for the borders and binding for the SIS quilt. I really like these fabrics and I am sure that they are going to look great on this quilt. The brown and blue fabrics were 50% off and will make pretty good backings. I have a quilt that I could use the blue one on, but I think that I will have to add to it for it to fit. You really can't pass up 50% off fabric when it's Moda!!

On the bright side, I am still in the black because of what I got cut this week to use!

Fabric added this week: 12.75
Fabric added year-to-date: 89.19

Fabric used this week: 3.68
Fabric used year-to-date: 89.90

Fabric Used: +0.71

The dogs have nothing to say right now. They went back to sleep after waking me up at 7:45!

Good job. You did stick to the plan, AND you didn't go back in the red, so I won't scold you! That green fabric is really cute! ;0)

I like the pups' thinking. I think there is a nap in my future.

You bought some good fabrics, you can use them in ANYTHING! (especially the green)

And you'll use the green and white before long, so really, it should hardly count ;) Looks like you got some great deals!

You were in Lawrenceburg? Were we already gone to Elk Lake? Bummer!
