In spite of....

In spite of the list that I made myself and all of the work that I have to do, I knit on my socks last night for the Friday Night Sew In. I felt a little guilty about not actually sewing until I saw how far I was getting on my socks. I am a little more than 3" in. Yea!

I also remembered that I never showed my scrap area after I did the straightening last week. Here is the before and the after.

I'm saving this stack of scraps to cut up until I get my GO next week! :)

And now, I can't decide what to work on next. I want to cut the fabric for the witch wall hangings, but that will involve pressing fabric. I also started sewing some of the 9 patches together for my granma's quilt.

Of course, Max is no help - he wants me to sit on the bed and hold him. lol

Knitting is just another type of sewing, so your all good!! No guilt involved here, you did sew, just in a new way!!!

And I can harldy wait till you are 'going' to town with your new toy!!! You will have alot of fun - and I complety understand you wanting to work on one project yet have another one calling to you too!!! I love the purple bats!! I love halloween fabrics, they always make me laugh. My friends know my addiction so once in awhile I will get handed some type of halloween fabric, with them saying, "When I saw this, I thought of you, so I had to get it!"!! Isn't that funny!!
Have a great Saturday night cuddling with your puppies!!!

I've given up on winning a GO so I might just end up looking into buying one or the Baby. I need to check out what dyes won't work on the Baby and figure out if I can live with that.

Knitting and sewing, they both involve stitches!

Puppy cuddles are good!

Following your lead....

"in spite"...of all the lovely pictures you shared in this post....

the QUILT that Max is relaxing on tickles my fancy the most! I LOVE IT!!!!! Pinks & Browsn....yummy ;0)

You'll get around to pressing and cuttin' up that fabric. You still have 1.5 months this year to tackle that "red" number in your stash reports :0)

Can't wait to see your finished socks! A friend of mine said she would show me how to knit but just can't seem to find the time!

I do hope that you get there in time to get your GO!!! That would be great!

Knitting and sewing and guilt do not not belong together. Throw that GUILT out! You always stay busy with something, so don't feel bad when you want to kick back and relax.

I'm so happy for you that you are getting a GO. Have fun with it!

Knitting is just weaving and sewing with yarn... Today I tackle the sewing space... YAY!!!!!

Knitting is awesome - better than quilt testing (aka falling asleep while watching TV!)...

Wow, I just read your list...I'm exhausted. ;) You can only do as much as you can do despite wanting to do it all. Your socks look great! Love your scrap pile. It will be gone in no time with your GO! I think you need a 2 legged assistant. :) Or teach Max to use the iron....

Good luck with the black Friday GO shopping. I hope it all works out. Until then, have fun figuring out which project to work on.
