Design Wall Monday, 3/7

Nothing on my design wall today because I have been strip piecing! Well, that's not exactly true - the Star Struck blocks are still on my design wall from last week.

I spent Saturday and part of Sunday cutting out the rest of the pieces that I need for the Star Struck quilt and once I got everything cut, I spent some time piecing the bricks together.

I planned on piecing the last parts of the Split Decision blocks while I was at the machine, but when I pulled the parts out, I realized that I hadn't done the final pressing.

I ended up making 2 Midget blocks for tomorrow's post while I waited for the iron to warm up so that I could press the pieces and start sewing them for the Split Decision. I probably got about 1/3 of the blocks assembled before I gave up for the night.

Hopefully, I will have a couple of new Design Wall pictures next week!

I'll have to google the split decision pattern to see how it's going to look.

I love those star blocks!

Girlie! You are on a roll! Love those fabrics too! Not sure what if I will get anything accomplished today, it is going to be a long and stressful morning.

Split Decision. I have that pattern and a quilt top in the making (UFO) but I HATE the fabric I'm using. So I never finished it. I should probably just finish it and give it away.
