Design Wall Monday - 9/26

Great weekend!! I'm doing good with my training for the retreat.

I put the binding on and am about 3/4 of the way done hand stitching the binding down on the Split Second Decision. I will finish that up tonight to show off.

I also got the SIS quilt blocks done, laid out and a border chosen. I hope that I can get the top assembled this week so I can bust the fabric for the borders. :)

And I got a block made for the bug jar quilt and started piecing on the rest of the blocks.

I have big plans for this week to get a few more finishes in before the end of the month. :)

Looking good. Love those black and white chain blocks. The bug jars will be adorable, what a fun excuse to collect lots of fun fabrics.

I love bug jars!

I would never have put those fabrics together in the first quilt but I love the way it looks.

I guess I need to loosen up a bit.

wtg Jill, you are always so busy. All that remodeling you did had paid off for sewing. Love the sis and bug quilt. I hope you will let me get a copy of your bug jar quilt pattern along with the one you said I could get before. It was a quilt pattern that uses 12 fq's. Have fun at your retreat. Love the pups and it looks like they love their new sitting spot. I want to get back into sewing and qulting since it is getting cooler. Sewing and quilting took a back burner for a while to scrapbooking.
