OK, I did my best to get a block done today! BUT!!!
Who on earth does a paper piece block with a Y seam??? The center parts of this block are too damn small for me to waste anymore time on it.
Seriously, how could someone designing a block this small think that this was an acceptable way to piece this block? One of the center seams is FOUR stitches long!
OK, enough venting. Did anyone else get a Midget block done for today?
I'm off to look for a replacement block. sigh...

I can't tell for sure but could you try sew half of the first seam, then all of the next continue around back to the beginning and sew the other half down, try that 2 x around might work. or send me the pattern i am up to driving myself nuts for a bit- lol
OY, that one does look like it's a bear...
I got one done! I'm not looking forward to that one...
But how great will it look, when the block is done and all the seams are exactly right! I love paper piecing!
I had major issues with that block. Seriously, I almost RFID the pattern to get rid of the weird seams. I don't think it would change the look much if the seems were in a more logical arrangement.
I would stitch the center separately and then start your paper piecing.
Oh dear. All I can say is I'm glad I'm not making these! Good luck finding a replacement.
Good luck on that!
Now that's stupid. Glad you're looking for a new block. Too frustrating for me.
