I wasn't sure that I would have anything to update, but I was able to get the pieced borders on the Morning Splash quilt tonight. This quilt is the Guild's Opportunity quilt. Getting the borders on involved ripping out the first border and re-sewing it on so that the sides were more in line with what they should be. Then, I had to pin (A LOT) all four of the pieced borders on.
The pattern calls for 6 more borders, but we have a print for the outer border so I think that we are changing it up a little and will only do 5 more borders. I'm hoping to start cutting the next few sets tomorrow night. I'd like to hand the quilt off to my co-chair to finish the borders. :) We'll see if that works out for me. lol
And Max seems to like being able to lay on the bed and watch over my shoulder while I sew and he can doze off when he needs to. He could barely keep his eyes open last night!

you've gotten so much done--are you needing a nap like Max??? When did you sleep?
It looks great! That border is the hardest, so it should be smooth sailing from here.
Glad you got the border on. Looks great!
WTG Jill, I love this quilt.
