I decided this morning that I am not getting the next block done today. I should have worked on it over the weekend, but I was too busy not doing anything. lol
This block is a little crazy for being a 4 1/2" finished block. There is no way that I am machine stitching all these little pieces and I am not hand stitching them either. I'm going to just work on a 4 patch and enlarge the curved pieces for that.
So here are all the blocks that I have done so far. I think that I am going to leave them up on the design wall for a few days. :)
Does anyone else have any tiny blocks to share?

The blocks are really, really good looking. They just sparkle on you wall, I would leave them there for a while. I think I would do exactly what you are planning for the next block. What were they thinking!
WOW!! They look great up on your design wall! Good luck with that next block though..I would probably crumble it up and throw it under my table!
EEEK!!!
wow. NO KIDDING! It would take what? 2 stitches per piece?? I like your idea. Can't wait to see it.
WOW!!! Love all of your blocks....I am just amazed with them!
I am working on Dear Jane this year as my mini project. Plans were to do a few blocks each week. Two weeks in and I have abound 45 done and the four corners- lol
Don't get excited I am doing raw edge applique it really speeds it up.
I think I may have a solution for your block. let me test if it will work and I'll email you my findings. cw
I'll admit that I spent days sewing ridiculously small bits of fabric down and then looked at the final block thinking it was quite ugly. A four patch version would be quicker ugliness and still maintain the idea. Have fun.
The blocks are looking good! That one is tiny craziness!!
Oh, your blocks look great! I'm working on mine very slowly. I want to work on these this year and show some progress. Thanks for showing yours.
Love all the blocks put together. I think I'll see what you do with #27 and get some ideas..... that one is a couple weeks away for me.
That is one crazy idea, making a mini block with all those pieces, what was the designer thinking. How many of the blocks in total do you have to make for the quilt? Happy Quilting. As soon as I finish the last few items for my granddaughter, I have a baby quilt to get started, needs to be finished by August.
