Tiny Tuesday - 6/19

I'm so excited!! I made a block tonight and finished my incomplete block from last week! Two blocks to show! Now, let's get to it!

Here is block #39 - Pine Burr. Paper pieced with too many small pieces!

I am happy to say that the block is assembled. Don't look too closely at the points because I know that I cut some of them of. Done is better than perfect! :)

And here is block # 40 - Nosegay. I drew this up in EQ7 to remove the y-seams and when I finally printed it out as paper piecing and got all the parts assembled, I realized that I had 2 y-seams that I had not removed. I left them and just followed the lines and I think it turned out pretty well!

And because I had the printer out to print Nosegay, I printed blocks 41-50. I can't wait to get started on them! But I still have block 37 to make. It is a dresden plate and it may be a while before I actually get it completed.

Anyone else have tiny blocks to share?

Don't know how you do all those small pieces. When I do small they end up very imprecise ...

I think they both look great! When working with such tiny blocks it is hard to get them completely perfect, but you'll never notice anything once they are all in the quilt.

I really like that nosegay block! I can see that done oversize and having the "flowers" free-motioned in the spaces with multiple colors.

I know. I'm a geek ;-)
