I spent all weekend working on the Easy Street mystery and catching up on shows on my DVR. I feel very relaxed and ready to tackle the work week now! Of course, you may need to ask me on Tuesday if that feeling has stuck with me! ;)
I still have to cut out the green parts, but I have made great progress on steps 1 through 4. And part of 7.
I may not be able to get back to this until after I get a couple of quilts quilted. My fingers are crossed that one of the thread orders I placed last week are delivered today! There is a guild meeting tonight that I might be skipping if the thread is delivered today so that I can get home and get to quilting.
I have really been enjoying the Easy Street mystery and I love the reveal so I am excited to keep stitching on my parts, but things will have to be put on hold as the quilting comes first.
I have done my piecing on Shirley the 301a and she is a work horse! I still don't think that I have figured out
how to control her speed with the foot pedal. She is either not stitching or
zippy zippy.
I have been stitching the rows together on Moon Pie as well as my leader and ender.
See how others are doing with their Easy Street on Bonnie's Monday Link up post.
Max even spent more time upstairs with us girls this weekend than he has done in a really long time. They were all exhausted from watching me stitch and press and stitch some more!

Looking great! A solid start to the new year.
Hope your thread arrives, I've been there and it is hard when waiting on thread is the only thing holding you up. Love your Easy Street fabrics too.
Have a wonderful and Blessed day

You're making great progress! Love the pups! They're totally worn out watching you work!
Great projects. Love the moonpie one especially!!
Fun projects. I am doing the same leader and ender. LOL Mine is just in batiks.
Your progress on easy street is great! Hope you get your thread soon!
Your Easy Street looks great. I've put the last stitches into SS #6 and now to photograph. Hope your thread comes in today... Lots of inspiration here!
I remember working all day and rushing home only to have to decide what I wanted to work on in the evening. I thought that when I retired I would get so much more done.....ha! Now I have time to read, travel, sleep in, read, take a nap, and still have to figure out what I want to work on in the short time I have left to sew. You are doing great with the time you have.
I can't wait to see your Easy Street blocks. I've seen the big reveal and think yours are going to be awesome!
Love the babies all snuggled up and napping. Oh, the life of a well-loved pup!
the more I look at your "new" machine, the more I think my Grandmother has one in her basement. Next time I'm at her house, I'm snooping around! I don't think she uses it anymore due to her poor eyesight. You are getting lots done. I made my January "this is what I need to finish this year" list. We'll see how well I stick to it. LOL!
Great progress! My furry boys cannot even get in the DOOR of my sewing room! I need to clear a path. I can get in there..but no one can follow me...hey..maybe that is a GOOD thing! HA...
They certainly do look comfy ..
Your Easy Street is coming along very nicely. There's so much sewing at the end but it's totally worth it. Love your 301! I'd like to own one some day.
