Design Wall Monday - 9/23

Yesterday, I worked on the bindings of three different quilts. But showing binding work is a little boring!

Last week, I finished the borders on Easy Street. That is much more exciting!

I decided to repeat the charcoal from the 4 patches as the inner border. And one of the purples used in the quilts is the outer border and the binding.

It was a sunny day, but not too bright and I think that is why the greens have a yellow tint to them in these pictures.

Right now, the backing is pressed and the quilting design has been chosen and the quilt is in line for quilting!!

See what others have on there walls here!

Very nice! What are you using for the backing?

Your Easy Street is beautiful. Can I use your picture for my post?? ha Mine looks very much like yours except my inner border is a turquoise. I should have waited and put my finishes on DWM instead of with the stash report then we would have been twins.

SOME DAY when I get to quilt again (if that EVER happens), I want to get the borders on MY easy street. I LOVE it and really want to finish it up. But this moving is eating my LUNCH!! I'm exhausted!

Your Easy Street looks great! I like the solid borders much better than the print you were contemplating. Very pretty!
