A finish and a purchase

This morning, I finished adding the binding and mailed off Regina's quilt! I can't wait until she gets it! Should be very soon!

After I stopped at the post office, I went to the library and the bank and then headed to Lambikin's for their inventory sale. I was thinking that I wouldn't go, but since I was already out of the house, I decided to go ahead and check it out. I have been looking at sweater patterns and thought that I would look at yarn for such a project.

I ended up buying a great sweater book that has 3 patterns in that I could make just at first glance. Now that I have it home and I read through one of the patterns, it looks very easy! So I picked up enough of the brown and the green yarns to make 2 patterns in the book. I also got a shorter set of size 2 circular needles and another ball of sock yarn. I ended up saving 40% off of everything!

Way to go meeting your deadline for Regina's quilt. I haven't seen that sweater book before. I can't wait to see what you make. Love the green yarn. Yummy! Both will make great sweaters.

My KnitPicks order was waiting in the mailbox this morning! Figures, when I'm not home, it gets here early. lol
