Design Wall Monday, 11/7

I am posting my design wall now because I know that Judy is going to post her post tonight and I don't know if I will be able to get online in the morning. I am so tired right now because of the daylight savings and after I write this up, I am going to knit for a while and then go to bed. It just seems so early right now! lol

This afternoon, I finished my second teal and brown BOM quilt and added it to the stack of recently finished quilt tops and backings. From left to right, I have the second BOM, the Oriental quilt, the Bento Box, the first BOM and the black and white quilt. These were all finished since October 1.

After I finished the second BOM top today, I spent some time straightening up my sewing area and then got busy on the 4th block in the Mystery BOM quilt. Then, I pressed all of my Split Decision pieces so far and assembled 1 block (lower right) and sewed 2 of the 9 patches for the Radiant Star quilt. I had hoped to get a lot of the strips for the 9 patches cut up this weekend, but kept putting it off. Since I made these two blocks and realized how quickly the 9 patches will sew up, I hope that it will motivate me to get the strip sets cut this week.

Right now, Maisy will be happy for a little cuddle time. She doesn't think that the duck is such great company.

Congratulations again on having such a great quilting week. I'm sure Maisy is amazed at your productivity, even if the duck isn't.

Good grief, do you ever sleep?

I'm toying with fussy cutting some squares today. Just something simple I can do before the move.

That's a lot of piecing, pressing, and bordering you've got on that railing! Fantastic amount of work in such a short time. Congrats!

Great quilts! The mystery BOM blocks are beautiful.

Doesn't time change make life difficult I can't seem to get back on schedule!

You have been very busy!! Your mystery bom's are wonderful. Is there a pattern available for those? Cuddle time is good for both Maisy and you!
