Monthly Accomplishments - November 2010

Well, it doesn't seem like I did much, but it was plenty for me! :)
  1. Continued knitting on my two at a time socks. Still not to the heel, but making progress.
  2. Assembled the Orientals quilt and made the backing and the binding.
  3. Made the 4th Mystery BOM block and 1 Split Decision block
  4. Organized a mess of scraps
  5. Made a binder for my Midget Mania blocks and made the first 2 blocks
  6. Made a binder (and then 2) for the Super Secret quilt and got all of the fabrics cut
  7. Finished the applique prep work and cut out all the pieces (with help from Granma) for the Which Witch? wall hangings and put one block together
  8. Made the 9 patches for my Granma's quilt
I also did a few big non-crafty things...
  1. Upgraded my TV for my bedroom
  2. Had the water heater replaced in my condo
  3. Went shopping in the early morning hours on Black Friday
And not too many books read this month.
  1. Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon - I posted about this book and the series in this post. After I got so many comments from readers about getting the book, I figured that I should re-listen to Outlander again and I am almost done with it now. I have to say that I am happy to be hearing back from gals that they have really enjoyed the first book. I am just about ready to move on to the third though because Drargonfly is still fresh in my mind.
  2. Speak Ill of the Dead by Mary Jane Maffini - I read this book because of a commenter's recommendation in a round about way. Maffini has a series where the main character has a doxie, but I started with this one because it was readily available from the library. It was a pretty good read and I have already gotten the next book on my library list. :)
And finally, my hours.... Hours spent - Quilting - 67.25; knitting - 11

I really need to work on my knitting hours! lol

OK...so I just read Outlander and it was fantastic. Not your typical romance novel, but really good. I'm moving on to the next one tomorrow....but I have to get some quilting done, not just reading! LOL....Looks like you got a lot done in Nov. Good job!
